If your considering trying a magazine on your iPad or just discovered a love of cars and literature, look no further than Top Gear Mag. This mag shows you how brilliantly interactive and three-dimensional content can be on the iPad while delivering a very full-fat reading experience. Im sure the TG team could have just made a simple PDF style page turner but it wouldnt have been worthy of the Top Gear name. Of course there are some little technical niggles that you will occasionally encounter but once you encounter a review of the new Rolls Royce and discover you can look around at the entire high resolution interior of the car using your iPad gyroscope, any flaws suddenly disappear. I guess what Im trying to say is that with The interactive mag for iPad, TG has created something that is quite simply: "Ambitious but (NOT) rubbish!" Anybody who reads this: BUY IT, you wont be disappointed. Also, kudos to the team responsible for this. If you keep up this level of quality, Ill keep reading.

I really enjoy this App. It is dynamic, interactive and generally quite intuitive. It is a great combination of text, video and other mediums. Overall, and unlike most other magazine apps, the TG Team have taken one of my favorite magazines and really brought it to life. Well done,lads!!!

Its even better than the physical magazine with more interaction and videos.

With the latest update you always need wifi to view current issues. It runs extremely slow and sometimes wont even load. Serious lag between pages as well. Latest update is awe full. Please fix or revert to the previous.

The app wont allow you to use zoom in some of the pages. cant read the txt in ipad mini. please rectify it.

Bring back Clarkson, May and Hammond!

App didnt even start on my iPad air. It is downloaded correctly but it didnt appear anywhere. Opening directly from AppStore does not work also. Tried to send a direct message to dev but Top Gear magazine is not listed at their support website.

Apart from the fact that Top Gear is one of the best magazines "In the world!", the app is absolutely amazing. Interactive, easy to use and generaly great!

I choose the app because its not easy to travel with 20kg of magazines. Or a gigantic crate with my dear Clarkson, May and Hammond stuffed in it. I still think they were the team I needed for a 10/10. Hope the new ones will keep trying. As far as the app is concerned, not enough zoom and navigation possibilities on older issues. And, still, not enough on the more recent ones. It looks a bit like a 5 yrs old app. It does the job but not 1 % more. Petrolheads only. iPhone? If you are younger than 35 or have a macro view button on the side of your head. Or glasses. Or both

Changed the concept of magazine reading. A fan of cars must have.

Videos take forever to load - start and stop as data streams. Pages partially load, then stop. Love the magazine, but the does not unfortunately seem to be a working alternative to the print edition. The pieces that work seem great - has potential, but does not appear ready for prime time.

The app is great though I wish it was easier to read on the iPhone but I guess the iPad was in mind when they were designing the app.

I purchased a subscription in January 2014 and have not been able to access a single issue since then. I have contacted support and was told that "an update was coming". What a load of garbage. This was $35 USD and I have not been able to load even one single issue. Absolutely worthless.

Wish I could zoom in on certain articles but other than that amazing!
